Lights off in my bedroom.
Remaining,the soft glow
of the computer screen.
What happened? I exclaimed
coming out of the bathroom
all made-up ready to dazzle you.
But I donØt have a chance.
You are upon me.
You embrace me. Turn me around.
I think,my make-up!
But when your tongue
touches mine I concentrate
on the pleasure,the warmth,
the passion. Oh! The ecstasy.
Is morning. I refresh myself.
Get close,massage you gently
provoke you,arouse you. In

is from Miraflores,Lima,PerÏ. Calls the United States
her second home and keeps close to her roots for she
feels that "it is much easier to get where you want
to go when you are proud of where you come from."
Earned her M.A. in 1987 in Spanish Literature at San
Francisco State University. A member of PEN. Is listed
in A Directory of American Poets and Fiction Writers.
Was selected by KDTV for their segment "One of Ours"
to honor her contributions to the Latin American community
in the Bay Area. Her poems and short stories have
been published in anthologies: Hard Love, Kaleidoscope,
Four by Four, living room 2, Coloring Book. Also in
