girlphoria.com is a multi-media online magazine geared toward the exploration of female sexuality. Girlphoria provides an open forum, presenting voices and visions from all schools of thought, within which women, and men, can expand their sexual horizons and knowledge in a respectable and positive atmosphere. When it comes to sex, it is assumed that women are simply not interested in such matters or that any exploration of the sexual must, by its' nature, be pornographic. The world-wide web is saturated with porn sites which seek to do little but provide masturbation material. While there is certainly nothing wrong with that, I find that women want and need more in order to feel satisfied by an erotic encounter.

At girlphoria.com we explore not only the sex "act" but examine cultural. political, cultural and religious forces as they, undeniably, shape the way in which we express our sexuality. We believe that we, in turn, can transform these forces toward a world in which we enjoy free expression of sexuality. Our content consists of articles and essays, fiction & poetry, photo reportage, streaming audio/video content as well as live interactive forums. In addition, we will provide celebrity interviews/profiles and cultural commentary. girlphoria.com will serve as a spring-board to the production of visual arts, music and literary material. We also actively encourage our readers to participate in the process by providing feedback and submitting content in order to better represent and serve our community.
