Erotic? Announcements
Coffee can kill pain, but only in women, a British newspaper
reported on Wednesday. The London Times said researchers
in London had asked a sample of men and women to plunge
their arms into buckets of freezing cold water and keep
them there as long as they could. The full article will

Plea from Alton:
On March 24th of 2000, a friend was involved in a tragic
car accident. As a result of her injuries she lost the baby
she was carrying and is now paralyzed from the neck down.
Her husband eventually left her; leaving her and her 8 year
old son to care for themselves. Now 27 years old, she and
her son live with her mother, but are financially devastated
to say the least. To make matters worse, as if they could
be, the used van she has (complete with chair lift) is on
its last leg so to speak.
I realize that this sounds like either the ABC Movie of
the Week or something you would see on the Lifetime channel,
but it is true. My wife and I have set up a new beneficiary
fund for Liz at our local branch of Regions Bank (they are
located throughout NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, AL, MS, AR and TX
). You will be able to verify this at any branch.
Our friend's medical bills are astronomical and will take
years, if not forever, to pay off. More importantly, unable
to work she is having problems just making ends meet. Yes,
she gets some support in the form of State funded Disability,
but it isn't even enough. I am asking each of you to look
into your heart and show the compassion I know you have.
The size of your donation is not important, the fact that
you care is. Contributions to the Elizabeth Mae Parker Beneficiary
Fund can be made at ANY branch of Regions Bank. Regions
Banks have branches in NC, SC, TN, GA, FL, AL, MS, AR, LA
and TX.
Your understanding and help in this matter will no doubt
be deeply appreciated.
Sincerely, Alton, Street Talk
