Dear Chris.. I am watching the show on teen sex/abstinence. Coulter made the remark the number of illegitimate children has risen greatly during the 90s.. She is correct. Her problem is when she tries to blame sex ed, TV etc. There she is dead wrong.

The number of illegitimate births has risen solely because of the Reagan Era's constantly pounding into impressionable young girls brains the message that abortion is wrong. I know of 100's of high school age girls weaned on that awful propaganda.

Everyone of these girls used the excuse"I don't believe in abortion" when they decided to give birth and go on the welfare system. These girls as a group suffer from low self esteem where they consider their ONLY value to be their reproductive role/sexual ability.

Girls with high self esteem get abortions. Simple as that. If an intelligent self respecting girl, by some horrid accident, gets pregnant, then she takes control of her own body and resolves the problem. Well educated girls know that it would take at least 10 legal abortions to do the physical damage of one legal pregnancy. As well as the 3 lives a birth would immediately damage, the mother, father, and baby all starting with the odds stacked against them.

The poor girls I know of who 'didn't believe in abortion' are, as a group, disappointed and depressed by the social reactions they are receiving. Who can blame them? They followed the rules as they were presented during the 80s .

And now, the very people whom they obeyed are angry at them because they and their offspring cost so much money for housing, food stamps, utility bills,day care, medical care,education, counseling, foster care, drug/alcohol rehabilitation, court costs, state collection of child support payments, job training, and so forth.

Well what did the Reaganites expect!! Of course they reap what they sow.!!

When they tell uneducated, young girls that abortion is murder, that their bodies are made by god for making babies, that continuing pregnancy as a unwed mother is better then getting an abortion and going to college, when you encourage teenage girls to believe that motherhood can be a life long career; This is what you get!.

And when you then complain about how much they cost you and resent the aid they require, when you then tell them how worthless they are for staying

home to care for these children(like you told them to). What you get are many, many confused, angry, betrayed, depressed, struggling young people living at poverty level.

As you may have noticed, these types don't make the best parents. If you think it's bad now,. just wait a few years when all these propaganda babies grow up.

I think today there is a little more to the female teenage mentality that needs to be addressed. These girls are getting pregnant on purpose as a tool to hold on to a boyfriend. The "I wanna have yo baby" syndrome is a huge symptom of no self esteem or self worth. They need a man to give them self worth and this baby will make him stay with her and take care of her. We know that is bullshit, but they don't. Our girls think the only power they have to get anywhere in life is through their reproductive organs and who is more interested in female reproductive organs other than guys. These girls also starve themselves to get a boy to want them, spend money they don't have on breast enhancement products, make up,sexy clothes and anything else they can get ahold of that will bring themselves a man. After they have the baby and daddy finds a new bitch to hang with then the cat fight begins. Of course the guy plays no role in this at all. It was the girl that took her man and she must be punished. For the girls who think abortion is wrong, there is adoption and now days childless couples actually put ads in the paper to get a child. But of course without the baby, where is the leverage to use on daddy????
