Clearing the Way for Dream Fruition
By Debora Myers/ladyfire.com
Why is it that we let life rule us, instead of controlling
our own lives? What does it take to become a co-creator
in your life? Why do we let ourselves be swept away
in someone else's dreams? Why do we take side-roads
away from our dream path, letting our dreams fall
away into a ditch, simply because we perceive that
side road as our only reality? Why do some of us sabotage
ourselves?
I can tell you why, and it's no big esoteric secret,
no need for a guru. It's simply fear. By acknowledging
the fear, understanding why fear is here as a protector,
and learning when and how to tell your fear to take
a back seat, will help you to move forward and onto
your true life path of making your dreams and your
life purpose into reality.
When you are on the correct path you will know it.
When you are following your heart and using your head
at the same time, and the obstacles disappear, then
you shall be on the high road to actualizing your
dreams.
The key is the high road. Karma will come into play
as you work through your life issues, work through
your old karma, letting go of expectations, angers,
jealousies and petty negative emotionality. You make
way for the good stuff to come through. This comes
with right action. Harm none. Do unto others and take
care of yourself while you do so.
As long as we understand fear as a protector, we
can use our heads to help us decipher when the fear
meter is over reacting and then we can consciously
command the fear to disappear. Find yourself afraid
before a job interview, a performance or before a
confrontation with a boss or in law or mate? Mentally
tell the fear that you do not need it right now and
to take a hike.
Tell yourself that simply talking to your boss does
not warrant a fear-based mˇlange of symptoms ranging
from sweaty palms to rapid heartbeat to nausea. This
is just a person that you need to communicate with.
That's it. Do not allow your mind or the jibber-jabber
part of your mind to take over. That fear based voice
that never seems to shut up, bringing all the what
if's, and the fears to the surface is there to be
your devils advocate, and get you to think of alternatives.
It is part of your critical thinking process. We just
need to learn that this voice is only part of our
thinking process. After you have acknowledged and
then commanded jabber to shut up, it's time to move
onto your higher thinking process.
The Higher Mind
Connecting with our higher mind and thinking processes
isn't as difficult as you may think. Sure it takes
practice and discipline learning to shut up the lower
fear based stuff. But after you have mastered that,
it becomes a lot easier to connect with higher consciousness.
Quieting your mind is all you need to do to connect
with the higher universal consciousness. Daily meditation
will help you to do this. Higher mind will guide you
to the answers you need to initiate your life mission.
By quieting your mind you clear the way to dream fruition.
So when you feel overwhelmed, bummed out, lost angry,
jealous, fearful, allow yourself the time to tap in,
quiet the jabber and tune into higher mind.
