Questions
1)
your medical assistant said i could drop in for my lab tests.
i see from reading on the internet that blood test are performed,
but that some doctors also ask for EKG and baseline hormone
level tests as well as bone density testing in the event
that a hysterectomy is needed.
Which
of these test will be done on my visit for lab testing?

I heard that morphine may make one very sick. throwing up
after surgery is not one of the top 10 things i would like
to do be doing. Are there alternatives to this drug?
3)
i read that it make take 2-4 weeks before normal activity
is resumed. What is considered normal routine.
4)
are there any guidelines as to when it is safe to resume
baths, driving, sexual intercourse, going back to work?
5)you
mentioned during our conversation on friday that you were
an oncologist and that myomectomy was not your field of
expertise - you perform cancer surgery - and that you had
performed between 1-500 of these operations since 1989.
could
you narrow this down to say over 100 or under 200. Something
to lend weight to your statements.
6)
from our talks i found out that you will be performing a
vertical cut not a bikini cut. although this is not a problem
it did bother me that i would not have known this until
after i woke from surgery. Is there anything else i should
know about?
7)
i read on some sites that there are doctors that use laser
for this surgery. i believe it was to make the incisions
and keep blood loss to a minimum. Since blood loss is a
major concern for you during this surgery will you be using
this technique.
